DESILTING
AQUAGO offers desilting services for ponds, lagoons, waterbodies and lakes. Depending on the site’s characteristics, the AQUAGO team will propose the best desilting or dredging solution : by divers, amphibian devices, excavator (…). The multiplicity of methods is our strengh. We rely on strong employees and partners skills on that field.
ISSUES
The human pression over the ecosystem leads to sediment accumulation and need for desilting works. The sediment accumulation causes many malfunctions in the aquatic habitat :
– Filamentous algae blooms (spyrogira) and aquatic weeds (eurasian milfoil, duckweed, elodea canadensis, pseudomonas elodea, canada waterweed, lagorasiphon)
– Bad smells
– Fishkills
– Silting
– Blue-green algae proliferation
– Anoxic crisis in the deep area
– Loss of transparency
– Botulism
